Naming a child is one of the most important things a parent can do. You can go traditional, by popularity or make one by combining family names. Think about it, would you like to go through school named Tootsy McTootser? My question today is what is the importance of picking that perfect, golden gates open-angels start singing name for characters in your books? As an author do you keep this visual you have of your character as you pick a name? Or do you start with a name and build your character? Have you ever gone back and changed a characters name in a story because it wasn’t working?
