If there’s anything I love as much as reading and writing romance it’s watching football. I can’t believe the season is nearly over, and I’ll have a long, dry spell before it starts again. Saturdays and Sundays I am glued to the television, writing and watching my college and pro teams.
But you know what the strangest thing is? I’ve never written a story with a football player as my hero. I guess it’s just one of those things, although I don’t know why. If anyone is an alpha male, it’s gotta be a football player. Right?
I used to manage rock bands and ciountry western sisngers, and it took me all these years to write a story with one of them as a hero. In March my novella, Having It All, will be out as part of Ellora’s Cave’s Flavors of Ecstacy I-The Cavemen Series. As I do with all my heroes, I fell in love with MacFontana while I was writing this. I actually found a picture of someone who cam pretty darn close to looking like him, and kept it tacked to my computer station the whole time I was writing it.
But today my heart belongs to the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kurt Warner, who is a true hero.
I am so hoping that the Arizona Cardinals win and go to the Superbouwl. It seems like they are doing so good now. Don’t have no favorite football player. Don’t watch to many games. Live in Arizona so do support the Cardinals.

Being a fellow TWRP author, just thought I’d dropped by to say g’day from Australia. I don’t know much about football, but those hunky football players are certianly a nice piece of eye candy.
