So, what do I have coming up?
On February 29th (yay, I got the extra day this year) I have a lesbian paranormal short story coming from Resplendence Publishing.
It's called The Cottage in the Woods, and as you can see, it's got an absolutely delicious cover. I don't want to give too much away (and I don't yet have the official blurb), but it's a story about a young woman who lives in a cottage in the woods (you may have already guessed that part 😉 ) and one day she has an unusual visitor come into her garden. And, it would seem, the visitor isn't in any major rush to leave…
I know that doesn't tell you very much – but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Keep an eye on my website for more information as soon as I have it.
I also have my first novella being released in April. It's an erotic romance called Off the Shelf and is being released as part of Xcite Books' new Secret Library range. It'll be available on its own as an eBook and also with two other novellas (by other Xcite authors) as a paperback. Again, as soon as I have more information I'll post it on my website.
I do, however, have the blurb for this one, so here goes…
At 35, travel writer Annalise is fed up with insensitive comments about being left "on the shelf." If she hears one more joke about Bridget Jones, she'll strangle someone. It's not as if she doesn't want a man, after all, but her busy career doesn't leave her much time for relationships. Sexy liaisons with passing acquaintances give Annalise physical satisfaction—for a while—but she needs more than that. She wants a man who will satisfy her mind as well as her body. But where will she find someone like that?
It seems Annalise may be in luck when a new member of staff starts working in the bookshop at the airport she regularly travels through. Damien appears to tick all the boxes – he's gorgeous, funny and intelligent, and he shares Annalise's love of books and travel.
The trouble is, Damien's shy and Annalise is terrified of rejection. Can they overcome their fears and admit their feelings, or are they doomed to remain on the shelf?
I had sooo much fun writing this novella (not to mention it being a huge learning curve from my usual short stories) and I'm really looking forward to it being released. I have the biggest crush on the male lead and I hope people like the story! I guess I'll find out pretty soon…
To keep up with what I'm up to, check out the links in my bio – to my website, social media and newsletter. There are goodies each month in my newsletter – I hope to see you there 😉
Also – next month I'm taking part in several blog hops with tons of cool prizes being given away, so be sure to stop by. Subscribe to my blog to make sure you don't miss out!
