I hope everyone has a great time this weekend! I have to confess I miss having the kids around this time of year. I miss hiding the Easter eggs and filling the baskets with candy. I suppose I could do one up for my husband, but then I would end up eating them all myself. And I don’t need that. I’m trying to be a good girl.
This time of year is great for cleaning up the yard, the house, etc. Yes, I know I talked about spring cleaning before, but I have to say this ‘spring fever’ thing is hitting me. And sometimes, yes, it really hurts! I love this time of year for the lack of mosquitos and other creepy crawlies that seem to hide for the winter before they rear their ugly heads. It may be a ‘bare’ time of year, but nice nonetheless.
I wish you all the best at this time of year, no matter what it is you’re celebrating – or if you’re celebrating at all. Perhaps you’re just enjoying having the weekend off…with an extra day or two, if you’re lucky. I will spend it avoiding chocolate (okay, I’m lying, but you know if no one SEES you eat it, it doesn’t count, right?) and watching the Ten Commandments. Love Mr. Heston!Â
