I had never picked up a GLBT book until I became a reviewer here. I was the one who would simply walk past the one lonely shelf in the bookstore and say, “Oh, well… isn’t that nice?” Then, I started reviewing books here at Coffee Time. Wow… did my eyes ever pop open with that first gay romance!! I could hardly wait until the next one.
This is one of my favorites. Ms. Fox combines mythology and reality is such a way that I found my breath catching with each encounter between Ryan and Eric. I loved the way the gods and goddesses came together to help one of their own find love. It is, for me, a story which caught me with first the intelligent writing, then the sensuality of these two men.
