Born in London, Cheryl grew up in Cheshire. Cheryl married Phil in 1991 and in the same year they moved to Scotland where they both worked a free a family of two children. In 2011, with the young adults off to University, Cheryl realised the dream of living in France where they ran a B&B until 2022. Moving to France brought the opportunity of a (slightly) quieter lifestyle but Cheryl still didn’t get time to write. When coronavirus hit in 2020 and the world stopped Cheryl decided to open the laptop and start writing that book! A year later her first novel “In My Mothers Footsteps” arrived followed a year later by “When Emma Came to Stay” Book three will be out this summer and Cheryl plans to continue with her found passion of writing.
