When I was finishing up South Dakota Way, I was already formulating the next story. All my stories deal with animals, wildlife, and human interaction. We had lived in the Colorado Rockies and many ranchers wished to kill off the wolf packs, but some ranchers learned to live in co-existance with them.
My idea was about a rancher that ran with the wolf pack, but that turned into a werewolf story. The hardest part was where to start the story in relationship to being a werewolf. Then like always it comes to me in a dream. The ideas ferment awhile then pop out when I am sleeping.

I have been telling stories since I was in grade school. I have posted on my library wall: “When I was little telling stories was lying, Now it is fiction.”
All my stories deal with my passion, animals; how they effect our lives or how we effect theirs. We have only one planet we share together.
