The Boys Next Door is a good read as Jennifer Echols, http://www.jennifer-echols.com/
brings a family to life amidst the area of Alabama, near the water. Knowing some of the areas in Alabama, especially around Mobile, one can actually share in the pleasures that the young characters explore as they enjoy the watery area. I like how she brings young characters into play, with Lori, Adam and Sean, allowing them to breathe life into the story. There were times I felt as if I was sitting on the dock and allowing my feet to dip into the cool water on a long, hazy, lazy, day. Ms. Echols crafts a story that I really enjoyed, even allowing one of the players to have ADD. I like how she interplays everything into the script, making this a fun read to me, while bringing out a good point, to make this a treasure of a read.
