The Mating Moon by Buffy Christopher

Buffy Christopher became an avid romance reader when she picked up Anne Rice’s Exit to Eden at the age of sixteen. She jokingly says that this book changed her life. The Mating Moon is Buffy’s first book. She has been happily married forÂ fourteen years and has two children. She considers her family to be her strength and her heart.

This book contains all the things for a good story: a strong female lead, drama, passion and a sexy man. Edge wants to help Ivy, but she is hesitant about revealing her secrets. The pain and emotions Ivy feels both from her past and present are tangible. My heart caught in my throat when she found herself falling in love with Edge. Within the first two chapters, the author had taken a hold of me, making me want to know more. Ms. Christopher took the paranormal, added a dash of normalcy and created a recipe for something wonderful. I am eagerly anticipating her next creation.
