I know, I know… another series! This one is by another of my favorite authors, Diana Gabaldon. This time traveling series follows Claire back in time where she meets Jaime Fraser, a Scottish highlander! The books are quite involved, but well worth taking the time to read. It’s the idea of travelling back in time and finding the love of a lifetime which puts this series right up in the top of my list of favorites. It’s a fun series, but, in many ways, I got a bit of a history lesson from Jaime and Claire’s points of view.

I absolutely adore books that are apart of a series, I like a continuation of the books especially if they are really good books, I always hate to see them end.
I’m literally just reading this book now (60 some odd pages or so) and I’m really liking it a lot! I love the overall historical feel from the 40s to 18th century Scotland. Gabaldon does a real good job of setting up the characters and the mood. I’m glad I finally dove in after hearing such good things about the series!
