Novelist Alice Clayton makes her home in St. Louis where she enjoys gardening but not weeding, baking but not cleaning up after, and is trying desperately to get her long-time boyfriend to make her an honest woman–and please buy her a Bernese Mountain dog. Alice enjoys pickles, Bloody Marys, eight hours of sleep and a good pounding.
Redhead Grace Sheridan is a modern day heroine with an incontrovertible sense of humor and a million flaws. Readers will love the witty banter between Grace and Jack and the fact that they simply cannot handle the relationship gag order. In the end it is good to see a curvy girl be successful in Hollywood, maintain her dignity, and especially get the hot guy. A must read!
