What if the heroine wakes up to a man who looks exactly like the man she wakes up next to every day?  I think it would make a great horror/mystery novel.Â
It could explore the perils of inhaling smelly socks, dig deep into the hidden mythos of why men can’t put the lid  down on the toilet seat, change the empty roll on the paper dispenser, ask for directions. These and so many other great mysteries of married life would be exposed for all time.  They could call it–Marriage, Til His Bloody Death Do We Part
